وَإِذۡ

قُلۡنَا

لِلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ

ٱسۡجُدُواْ

لِأٓدَمَ

فَسَجَدُوٓاْ

إِلَّآ

إِبۡلِيسَ

أَبَىٰ

١١٦

And ˹remember˺ when We said to the angels, “Prostrate before Adam,” so they all did—but not Iblîs,¹ who refused ˹arrogantly˺.
