فَلَمَّا
دَخَلُواْ
عَلَيۡهِ
قَالُواْ
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
ٱلۡعَزِيزُ
مَسَّنَا
وَأَهۡلَنَا
ٱلضُّرُّ
وَجِئۡنَا
بِبِضَٰعَةٖ
مُّزۡجَىٰةٖ
فَأَوۡفِ
لَنَا
ٱلۡكَيۡلَ
وَتَصَدَّقۡ
عَلَيۡنَآۖ
إِنَّ
ٱللَّهَ
يَجۡزِي
ٱلۡمُتَصَدِّقِينَ

ನಂತರ ಅವರು ಯೂಸುಫರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತೆರಳಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು: “ಓ ಅಝೀಝರೇ! ನಮಗೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಕುಟುಂಬಕ್ಕೂ ತೊಂದರೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ನಾವು ಕಳಪೆ ಸರಕುಗಳನ್ನು ತಂದಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ನಮಗೆ (ಧಾನ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು) ಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಅಳೆದುಕೊಡಿ. ನಮಗೆ ದಾನ ಮಾಡಿ. ದಾನ ಮಾಡುವವರಿಗೆ ಅಲ್ಲಾಹು ಖಂಡಿತ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲವನ್ನು ನೀಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.”
