فِي
قُلُوبِهِم
مَّرَضٞ
فَزَادَهُمُ
ٱللَّهُ
مَرَضٗاۖ
وَلَهُمۡ
عَذَابٌ
أَلِيمُۢ
بِمَا
كَانُواْ
يَكۡذِبُونَ
١٠
(ஏனென்றால்) அவர்களுடைய உள்ளங்களில் (வஞ்சகம் என்னும்) நோய் இருக்கிறது. ஆகவே, அவர்களுக்கு (அந்)நோயை அல்லாஹ் அதிகப்படுத்தியும் விட்டான். (இவ்விதம்) அவர்கள் பொய் சொல்வதனால் மிக்க துன்புறுத்தும் வேதனையும் அவர்களுக்கு உண்டு.

The Meaning of `Disease' in this Ayah
As-Suddi narrated from Abu Malik and (also) from Abu Salih, from Ibn `Abbas, and (also) Murrah Al-Hamdani from Ibn Mas`ud and other Companions that this Ayah,
فِى قُلُوبِهِمْ مَّرَضٌ
(In their hearts is a disease) means, `doubt', and,
فَزَادَهُمُ اللَّهُ مَرَضًا
