يَسۡمَعُ

ءَايَٰتِ

ٱللَّهِ

تُتۡلَىٰ

عَلَيۡهِ

ثُمَّ

يُصِرُّ

مُسۡتَكۡبِرٗا

كَأَن

لَّمۡ

يَسۡمَعۡهَاۖ

فَبَشِّرۡهُ

بِعَذَابٍ

أَلِيمٖ

٨

They hear Allah’s revelations recited to them, then persist ˹in denial˺ arrogantly as if they did not hear them. So give them good news of a painful punishment.
