وَلَمَّا
وَرَدَ
مَآءَ
مَدۡيَنَ
وَجَدَ
عَلَيۡهِ
أُمَّةٗ
مِّنَ
ٱلنَّاسِ
يَسۡقُونَ
وَوَجَدَ
مِن
دُونِهِمُ
ٱمۡرَأَتَيۡنِ
تَذُودَانِۖ
قَالَ
مَا
خَطۡبُكُمَاۖ
قَالَتَا
لَا
نَسۡقِي
حَتَّىٰ
يُصۡدِرَ
ٱلرِّعَآءُۖ
وَأَبُونَا
شَيۡخٞ
كَبِيرٞ
٢٣
Și când a ajuns la [fântâna de] apa de la Madyan, a găsit acolo o mulțime de oameni care adăpau [turmele]. Și în afară de ei, a găsit el și două femei care-și țineau departe [turma lor]. Și le-a întrebat el: „Care este necazul vostru?” Ele au răspuns: „Noi nu vom putea să adăpăm până ce nu s-au dus păstorii, iar tatăl nostru este tare bătrân!
