رَّبِّ
ٱغۡفِرۡ
لِي
وَلِوَٰلِدَيَّ
وَلِمَن
دَخَلَ
بَيۡتِيَ
مُؤۡمِنٗا
وَلِلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتِۖ
وَلَا
تَزِدِ
ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
إِلَّا
تَبَارَۢا
٢٨
Mana yanje Rurema Allah! Ngirira imbabazi jewe n’abavyeyi banje, n’uwo wese yinjiye mu nzu yanje yemera Imana Allah. Wongere ubabarire abemeramana n’abemeramanakazi, kandi ntiwongerereze abirenganije mu kugarariza, kiretse ukubahonya kw'isi, hamwe n’agahombo mu buzima bw’inyuma yo gupfa”.

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
مِّمَّا خَطِيئَتِهِمْ
(Because of their sins) It also has been recited as; (خَطَايَاهُمْ) (their errors.)
أُغْرِقُواْ
(they were drowned,) meaning, for their numerous sins, rebellion, persistence in disbelief and opposition to their Messengers.
