۞ أَوَلَمۡ
يَسِيرُواْ
فِي
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
فَيَنظُرُواْ
كَيۡفَ
كَانَ
عَٰقِبَةُ
ٱلَّذِينَ
كَانُواْ
مِن
قَبۡلِهِمۡۚ
كَانُواْ
هُمۡ
أَشَدَّ
مِنۡهُمۡ
قُوَّةٗ
وَءَاثَارٗا
فِي
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
فَأَخَذَهُمُ
ٱللَّهُ
بِذُنُوبِهِمۡ
وَمَا
كَانَ
لَهُم
مِّنَ
ٱللَّهِ
مِن
وَاقٖ

Oare n-au purces ei pe Pământ ca să vadă cum a fost sfârșitul celor care au trăit înainte de ei? Au fost mai tari decât ei și au lăsat pe Pământ urme mai puternice decât ei, însă Allah i-a apucat pentru păcatele lor și nu au avut ei apărător înaintea lui Allah.

The Severe Punishment for the Disbelievers
أَوَلَمْ يَسيرُواْ
(Have they not traveled), `these people who disbelieve in your Message, O Muhammad,'
فِى الاٌّرْضِ فَيَنظُرُواْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَقِبَةُ الَّذِينَ كَانُواْ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ
(in the land and seen what was the end of those who were before them) mean
