فَأَمَّا
ٱلَّذِينَ
ءَامَنُواْ
وَعَمِلُواْ
ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
فَيُوَفِّيهِمۡ
أُجُورَهُمۡ
وَيَزِيدُهُم
مِّن
فَضۡلِهِۦۖ
وَأَمَّا
ٱلَّذِينَ
ٱسۡتَنكَفُواْ
وَٱسۡتَكۡبَرُواْ
فَيُعَذِّبُهُمۡ
عَذَابًا
أَلِيمٗا
وَلَا
يَجِدُونَ
لَهُم
مِّن
دُونِ
ٱللَّهِ
وَلِيّٗا
وَلَا
نَصِيرٗا
١٧٣
A ceux qui auront cru et accompli de bonnes œuvres, Il accordera leur entière récompense et leur ajoutera même de Ses faveurs. Quant à ceux qui auront refusé, par orgueil, de se soumettre à Lui, Il les châtiera douloureusement, sans qu’ils puissent trouver contre Son châtiment ni soutien, ni protecteur.

The Prophets and Angels Are Never too Proud to Worship Allah
Ibn Abi Hatim recorded that Ibn `Abbas said that, `proud', means insolent. Qatadah said that,
الْمَسِيحُ أَن يَكُونَ عَبْداً للَّهِ وَلاَ الْمَلَئِكَةُ الْمُقَرَّبُونَ
