شَاكِرٗا
لِّأَنۡعُمِهِۚ
ٱجۡتَبَىٰهُ
وَهَدَىٰهُ
إِلَىٰ
صِرَٰطٖ
مُّسۡتَقِيمٖ
١٢١
അവന്റെ (അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ) അനുഗ്രഹങ്ങള്ക്ക് നന്ദികാണിക്കുന്നവനായിരുന്നുഅദ്ദേഹം. അദ്ദേഹത്തെ അവന് തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുകയും നേരായ പാതയിലേക്ക് നയിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
He selected him, as Allah says :
وَلَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَآ إِبْرَهِيمَ رُشْدَهُ مِن قَبْلُ وَكُنَّا بِهِ عَلِمِينَ
(And before, We indeed gave Ibrahim his integrity, and We were indeed most knowledgeable about him)(21:51). Then Allah says:
