شَاكِرٗا
لِّأَنۡعُمِهِۚ
ٱجۡتَبَىٰهُ
وَهَدَىٰهُ
إِلَىٰ
صِرَٰطٖ
مُّسۡتَقِيمٖ
١٢١
இறைவனின் அருட்கொடைகளுக்கு (எந்நேரமும்) நன்றி செலுத்துபவராகவும் இருந்தார். ஆகவே, (இறைவனும்) அவரைத் தேர்ந்தெடுத்து நேரான வழியில் செலுத்தினான்.

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
He selected him, as Allah says :
وَلَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَآ إِبْرَهِيمَ رُشْدَهُ مِن قَبْلُ وَكُنَّا بِهِ عَلِمِينَ
(And before, We indeed gave Ibrahim his integrity, and We were indeed most knowledgeable about him)(21:51). Then Allah says:
