وَإِذَا
مَسَّكُمُ
ٱلضُّرُّ
فِي
ٱلۡبَحۡرِ
ضَلَّ
مَن
تَدۡعُونَ
إِلَّآ
إِيَّاهُۖ
فَلَمَّا
نَجَّىٰكُمۡ
إِلَى
ٱلۡبَرِّ
أَعۡرَضۡتُمۡۚ
وَكَانَ
ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ
كَفُورًا
٦٧
Și când răul vă va ajunge pe mare, rătăcesc departe cei pe care voi îi chemați, în afară de El. Dar după ce El vă mântuiește, aducându-vă pe uscat, voi vă întoarceți [de la El], căci omul este nerecunoscător.

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
When Harm befalls Them, the Disbelievers do not remember anyone except Allah
Allah tells us that when harm befalls people, they call on Him, turning to Him and sincerely beseeching Him. Hence Allah says:
وَإِذَا مَسَّكُمُ الْضُّرُّ فِى الْبَحْرِ ضَلَّ مَن تَدْعُونَ إِلاَ إِيَّاهُ
