وَإِذۡ
قُلۡنَا
لَكَ
إِنَّ
رَبَّكَ
أَحَاطَ
بِٱلنَّاسِۚ
وَمَا
جَعَلۡنَا
ٱلرُّءۡيَا
ٱلَّتِيٓ
أَرَيۡنَٰكَ
إِلَّا
فِتۡنَةٗ
لِّلنَّاسِ
وَٱلشَّجَرَةَ
ٱلۡمَلۡعُونَةَ
فِي
ٱلۡقُرۡءَانِۚ
وَنُخَوِّفُهُمۡ
فَمَا
يَزِيدُهُمۡ
إِلَّا
طُغۡيَٰنٗا
كَبِيرٗا
٦٠
(நபியே!) ‘‘உமது இறைவன் அம்மனிதர்களைச் சூழ்ந்துகொண்டான். (அவர்கள் உமக்குத் தீங்கிழைக்க முடியாது)'' என்று நாம் உமக்குக் கூறியதை கவனிப்பீராக. உமக்கு நாம் (மிஃராஜில்) காண்பித்த காட்சியும், சபிக்கப்பட்ட (கள்ளி) மரத்தை (அது மறுமையில் பாவிகளின் உணவென) குர்ஆனில் நாம் கூறியிருப்பதும் மனிதர்களை சோதிப்பதற்காகவே தவிர வேறில்லை. (நபியே! நம் வேதனையைப் பற்றி) நாம் அவர்களைப் பயமுறுத்துவது (அவர்களுடைய) பெரும் அட்டூழியத்தையே அவர்களுக்கு அதிகரிக்கச் செய்கிறது.
