وَإِذَآ
أَرَدۡنَآ

نُّهۡلِكَ
قَرۡيَةً
أَمَرۡنَا
مُتۡرَفِيهَا
فَفَسَقُواْ
فِيهَا
فَحَقَّ
عَلَيۡهَا
ٱلۡقَوۡلُ
فَدَمَّرۡنَٰهَا
تَدۡمِيرٗا

Şi dacă voim Noi să nimicim o cetate, le vom porunci celor îmbuibaţi din ea [să se supună rânduielilor Noastre], însă ei, [dimpotrivă], se vor deda desfrâului. Atunci pedeapsa hotărâtă împotriva ei se va adeveri1 ş i N oi o v om n imici c u t otul.
