وَلَقَدۡ
أَخَذۡنَآ
ءَالَ
فِرۡعَوۡنَ
بِٱلسِّنِينَ
وَنَقۡصٖ
مِّنَ
ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ
لَعَلَّهُمۡ
يَذَّكَّرُونَ
١٣٠
பின்னர், ஃபிர்அவ்னுடைய மக்களைப் பஞ்சத்தைக் கொண்டும் (அவர்களுடைய விவசாய) விளைச்சல்களில் நஷ்டத்தைக் கொண்டும் தண்டித்தோம். (இதனால்) அவர்கள் நல்லுணர்ச்சிப் பெற்றிருக்கலாம்.

Fir`awn and His People suffer Years of Drought
Allah said,
وَلَقَدْ أَخَذْنَآ ءالَ فِرْعَوْنَ
(And indeed We punished the people of Fir`awn) We tested and tried them,
بِالسِّنِينَ
(with years of drought) of famine due to little produce,
وَنَقْصٍ مِّن الثَّمَرَاتِ
