أَلۡقَوۡاْ
سَحَرُوٓاْ
أَعۡيُنَ
ٱلنَّاسِ
وَٱسۡتَرۡهَبُوهُمۡ
وَجَآءُو
بِسِحۡرٍ
عَظِيمٖ

Siya (Moises) mitubag: "Ikaw una maglabay". Busa sa diha ilang gilabay", ilang gilimbongan ang mga mata sa mga tawo ug gihampak silag kalisang, ug sila nagpakita ug dako nga salamangka.

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
إِمَّآ أَن تُلْقِىَ وَإِمَّآ أَن نَّكُونَ نَحْنُ الْمُلْقِينَ
(Either you throw (first), or shall we have the (first) throw) before you. In another Ayah, they said,
