Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
إِمَّآ أَن تُلْقِىَ وَإِمَّآ أَن نَّكُونَ نَحْنُ الْمُلْقِينَ
(Either you throw (first), or shall we have the (first) throw) before you. In another Ayah, they said,
