وَلَقَدۡ
خَلَقۡنَٰكُمۡ
ثُمَّ
صَوَّرۡنَٰكُمۡ
ثُمَّ
قُلۡنَا
لِلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ
ٱسۡجُدُواْ
لِأٓدَمَ
فَسَجَدُوٓاْ
إِلَّآ
إِبۡلِيسَ
لَمۡ
يَكُن
مِّنَ
ٱلسَّٰجِدِينَ

തീര്ച്ചയായും നാം നിങ്ങളെ സൃഷ്ടിക്കുകയും, നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് രൂപം നല്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. പിന്നീട് നാം മലക്കുകളോട് പറഞ്ഞു: നിങ്ങള് ആദമിനെ പ്രണമിക്കുക. അവര് പ്രണമിച്ചു; ഇബ്ലീസൊഴികെ. അവന് പ്രണമിച്ചവരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിലായില്ല.

Prostration of the Angels to Adam and Shaytan's Arrogance
Allah informs the Children of Adam about the honor of their father and the enmity of Shaytan, who still has envy for them and for their father Adam. So they should beware of him and not follow in his footsteps. Allah said,
