تِلۡكَ
ٱلۡقُرَىٰ
نَقُصُّ
عَلَيۡكَ
مِنۡ
أَنۢبَآئِهَاۚ
وَلَقَدۡ
جَآءَتۡهُمۡ
رُسُلُهُم
بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ
فَمَا
كَانُواْ
لِيُؤۡمِنُواْ
بِمَا
كَذَّبُواْ
مِن
قَبۡلُۚ
كَذَٰلِكَ
يَطۡبَعُ
ٱللَّهُ
عَلَىٰ
قُلُوبِ
ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
١٠١
O tim naseljima Mi ti neke događaje kazujemo. Poslanici njihovi jasne su im dokaze donosili, ali oni nisu povjerovali zato što ni prije nisu vjerovali. Eto, tako Allah srca nevjernika zapečati.

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
تِلْكَ الْقُرَى نَقُصُّ عَلَيْكَ
(Those were the towns that We relate to you) O Muhammad,
مِنْ أَنبَآئِهَا
(their story), and news,
وَلَقَدْ جَآءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُم بِالْبَيِّنَتِ
(And there came indeed to them their Messengers with clear proofs,) and evidences of the truth of what they brought them. All
