إِذۡ
يُرِيكَهُمُ
ٱللَّهُ
فِي
مَنَامِكَ
قَلِيلٗاۖ
وَلَوۡ
أَرَىٰكَهُمۡ
كَثِيرٗا
لَّفَشِلۡتُمۡ
وَلَتَنَٰزَعۡتُمۡ
فِي
ٱلۡأَمۡرِ
وَلَٰكِنَّ
ٱللَّهَ
سَلَّمَۚ
إِنَّهُۥ
عَلِيمُۢ
بِذَاتِ
ٱلصُّدُورِ
٤٣
[Adu-ți aminte, o, Mohammed] cum Allah ți i-a arătat în visul tău [ca fiind] puțini. Iar dacă ți i-ar fi arătat mulți, voi [credincioșilor] v-ați fi temut și ați fi avut păreri diferite [dacă să lupte sau nu] asupra acestui lucru. Dar Allah v-a păzit [de aceasta]. El este Bineștiutor al celor dinăuntrul piepturilor.

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
Allah made each Group look few in the Eye of the Other
Mujahid said, "In a dream, Allah showed the Prophet the enemy as few. The Prophet conveyed this news to his Companions and their resolve strengthened." Similar was said by Ibn Ishaq and several others. Allah said,
