وَقَالُواْ
لَوۡلَا
نُزِّلَ
عَلَيۡهِ
ءَايَةٞ
مِّن
رَّبِّهِۦۚ
قُلۡ
إِنَّ
ٱللَّهَ
قَادِرٌ
عَلَىٰٓ
أَن
يُنَزِّلَ
ءَايَةٗ
وَلَٰكِنَّ
أَكۡثَرَهُمۡ
لَا
يَعۡلَمُونَ

ਇਹ ਕਾਫ਼ਿਰ ਲੋਕ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਇਸ (ਮੁਹੰਮਦ ਸ:) ਉੱਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਵਡੀ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨੀ ਕਿਉਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਉਤਾਰੀ ਗਈ ? (ਹੇ ਨਬੀ!) ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਹਿ ਦਿਓ ਕਿ ਬੇਸ਼ੱਕ ਅੱਲਾਹ ਇਸ ਦੀ ਸਮਰਥਾ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੇ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਕੋਈ ਵੱਡੀ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨੀ ਨਾਜ਼ਿਲ ਕਰੇ, ਪਰ ਬਹੁਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਗਿਆਨ ਨਹੀਂ।
