Al-An’ám 6:33 قد نعلم انه ليحزنك الذي يقولون فانهم لا يكذبونك ولاكن الظالمين بايات الله يجحدون ٣٣
قَدۡ
نَعۡلَمُ
إِنَّهُۥ
لَيَحۡزُنُكَ
ٱلَّذِي
يَقُولُونَۖ
فَإِنَّهُمۡ
لَا
يُكَذِّبُونَكَ
وَلَٰكِنَّ
ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
بِـَٔايَٰتِ
ٱللَّهِ
يَجۡحَدُونَ
٣٣
We know that you, [O Muḥammad], are saddened by what they say. And indeed, they do not call you untruthful, but it is the verses of Allāh that the wrongdoers reject.

We certainly know that what they say grieves you ˹O Prophet˺. It is not your honesty they question—it is Allah’s signs that the wrongdoers deny.
