وما جعلناهم جسدا لا ياكلون الطعام وما كانوا خالدين ٨

وَمَا جَعَلْنَـٰهُمْ جَسَدًۭا لَّا يَأْكُلُونَ ٱلطَّعَامَ وَمَا كَانُوا۟ خَـٰلِدِينَ ٨

وَمَا
جَعَلۡنَٰهُمۡ
جَسَدٗا
لَّا
يَأۡكُلُونَ
ٱلطَّعَامَ
وَمَا
كَانُواْ
خَٰلِدِينَ
٨

And We did not make them [i.e., the prophets] forms not eating food,¹ nor were they immortal [on earth].

Dan Kami tidak menjadikan mereka (para rasul-rasul) suatu tubuh yang tidak memakan makanan, dan mereka tidak (pula) hidup kekal.
