وَلَوۡ

نَشَآءُ

لَمَسَخۡنَٰهُمۡ

عَلَىٰ

مَكَانَتِهِمۡ

فَمَا

ٱسۡتَطَٰعُواْ

مُضِيّٗا

وَلَا

يَرۡجِعُونَ

٦٧

And if We willed, We could have deformed them, [paralyzing them] in their places so they would not be able to proceed, nor could they return.¹
