لَا
ٱلشَّمۡسُ
يَنۢبَغِي
لَهَآ
أَن
تُدۡرِكَ
ٱلۡقَمَرَ
وَلَا
ٱلَّيۡلُ
سَابِقُ
ٱلنَّهَارِۚ
وَكُلّٞ
فِي
فَلَكٖ
يَسۡبَحُونَ

Nici Soarele nu se cuvine să ajungă Luna, nici noaptea nu poate să o ia înaintea zilei1 şi toate plutesc pe orbite [proprii].

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
Among the Signs of the Might and Power of Allah are the Night and Day, and the Sun and Moon
يُغْشِى الَّيْلَ النَّهَارَ يَطْلُبُهُ حَثِيثًا
(He brings the night as a cover over the day, seeking it rapidly) (7:54). Allah says here:
