At-Tawbah 9:44 لا يستاذنك الذين يومنون بالله واليوم الاخر ان يجاهدوا باموالهم وانفسهم والله عليم بالمتقين ٤٤
لَا
يَسۡتَـٔۡذِنُكَ
ٱلَّذِينَ
يُؤۡمِنُونَ
بِٱللَّهِ
وَٱلۡيَوۡمِ
ٱلۡأٓخِرِ
أَن
يُجَٰهِدُواْ
بِأَمۡوَٰلِهِمۡ
وَأَنفُسِهِمۡۗ
وَٱللَّهُ
عَلِيمُۢ
بِٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ
٤٤
[44] บรรดาผู้ที่ศรัทธาต่ออัลลอฮฺ และวันปรโลกนั้นจะไม่ขออนุมัติต่อเจ้าในการที่พวกเขาจะเสียสละทั้งด้วยทรัพย์ของพวกเขา และชีวิตของพวกเขา และอัลลอฮฺนั้นเป็นผู้ทรงรอบรู้ต่อบรรดาผู้ที่ยำเกรง

Moderately criticizing the Prophet for allowing the Hypocrites to stay behind
Ibn Abi Hatim recorded that `Awn said, "Have you heard criticism softer than this, starting with forgiveness before criticism,
عَفَا اللَّهُ عَنكَ لِمَ أَذِنتَ لَهُمْ
(May Allah forgive you. Why did you grant them leave...)"
