حَتَّىٰٓ
إِذَا
بَلَغَ
مَغۡرِبَ
ٱلشَّمۡسِ
وَجَدَهَا
تَغۡرُبُ
فِي
عَيۡنٍ
حَمِئَةٖ
وَوَجَدَ
عِندَهَا
قَوۡمٗاۖ
قُلۡنَا
يَٰذَا
ٱلۡقَرۡنَيۡنِ
إِمَّآ
أَن
تُعَذِّبَ
وَإِمَّآ
أَن
تَتَّخِذَ
فِيهِمۡ
حُسۡنٗا

จนกระทั่งเมื่อเขาไปถึงดินแดนที่ดวงอาทิตย์ตก เขาพบลงในน้ำขุ่นดำ และพบ ณ ที่นั้นชนหมู่หนึ่ง เรากล่าวว่า(อัลลอฮ์ทรงดลใจเขา) “โอ้ ซุลก็อรนัยน์ เจ้าจะลงโทษพวกเขา หรือทำความดีต่อพวกเขา”
