Ash-Shurá 42:52 وكذالك اوحينا اليك روحا من امرنا ما كنت تدري ما الكتاب ولا الايمان ولاكن جعلناه نورا نهدي به من نشاء من عبادنا وانك لتهدي الى صراط مستقيم ٥٢
وَكَذَٰلِكَ
أَوۡحَيۡنَآ
إِلَيۡكَ
رُوحٗا
مِّنۡ
أَمۡرِنَاۚ
مَا
كُنتَ
تَدۡرِي
مَا
ٱلۡكِتَٰبُ
وَلَا
ٱلۡإِيمَٰنُ
وَلَٰكِن
جَعَلۡنَٰهُ
نُورٗا
نَّهۡدِي
بِهِۦ
مَن
نَّشَآءُ
مِنۡ
عِبَادِنَاۚ
وَإِنَّكَ
لَتَهۡدِيٓ
إِلَىٰ
صِرَٰطٖ
مُّسۡتَقِيمٖ
٥٢
Te he revelado [¡Oh, Mujámmad!] una inspiración Mía [el Corán]. Tú no conocías el Libro [revelado anteriormente] ni la fe [en sus detalles]. Entonces hice que fuera una luz[1] con la que guío a quienes quiero, y tú [¡Oh, Mujámmad!] guías al sendero recto, 1

How the Revelation comes down
This refers to how Allah sends revelation. Sometimes He casts something into the heart of the Prophet , and he has no doubt that it is from Allah, as it was reported in Sahih Ibn Hibban that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
