An-Nisa 4:95 لا يستوي القاعدون من المومنين غير اولي الضرر والمجاهدون في سبيل الله باموالهم وانفسهم فضل الله المجاهدين باموالهم وانفسهم على القاعدين درجة وكلا وعد الله الحسنى وفضل الله المجاهدين على القاعدين اجرا عظيما ٩٥

لَّا
يَسۡتَوِي
ٱلۡقَٰعِدُونَ
مِنَ
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
غَيۡرُ
أُوْلِي
ٱلضَّرَرِ
وَٱلۡمُجَٰهِدُونَ
فِي
سَبِيلِ
ٱللَّهِ
بِأَمۡوَٰلِهِمۡ
وَأَنفُسِهِمۡۚ
فَضَّلَ
ٱللَّهُ
ٱلۡمُجَٰهِدِينَ
بِأَمۡوَٰلِهِمۡ
وَأَنفُسِهِمۡ
عَلَى
ٱلۡقَٰعِدِينَ
دَرَجَةٗۚ
وَكُلّٗا
وَعَدَ
ٱللَّهُ
ٱلۡحُسۡنَىٰۚ
وَفَضَّلَ
ٱللَّهُ
ٱلۡمُجَٰهِدِينَ
عَلَى
ٱلۡقَٰعِدِينَ
أَجۡرًا
عَظِيمٗا
٩٥
Those believers who stay at home—except those with valid excuses1—are not equal to those who strive in the cause of Allah with their wealth and their lives. Allah has elevated in rank those who strive with their wealth and their lives above those who stay behind ˹with valid excuses˺. Allah has promised each a fine reward, but those who strive will receive a far better reward than others—

Al-Bukhari recorded that Al-Bara' said, "When the Ayah,

لاَّ يَسْتَوِى الْقَـعِدُونَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ

(Not equal are those of the believers who sit (at home),) was revealed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ called Zayd
