Ali-'Imran 3:93 ۞ كل الطعام كان حلا لبني اسراييل الا ما حرم اسراييل على نفسه من قبل ان تنزل التوراة قل فاتوا بالتوراة فاتلوها ان كنتم صادقين ٩٣
۞ كُلُّ
ٱلطَّعَامِ
كَانَ
حِلّٗا
لِّبَنِيٓ
إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ
إِلَّا
مَا
حَرَّمَ
إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلُ
عَلَىٰ
نَفۡسِهِۦ
مِن
قَبۡلِ
أَن
تُنَزَّلَ
ٱلتَّوۡرَىٰةُۚ
قُلۡ
فَأۡتُواْ
بِٱلتَّوۡرَىٰةِ
فَٱتۡلُوهَآ
إِن
كُنتُمۡ
صَٰدِقِينَ
٩٣
Segala jenis makanan dahulu adalah halal bagi Bani Israil, kecuali makanan yang diharamkan oleh Israil (Nabi Yaakub) kepada dirinya sendiri sebelum diturunkan Kitab Taurat. Katakanlah (wahai Muhammad): "(Jika ada makanan yang diharamkan kepada kamu - wahai Bani Israil - sebelum Kitab Taurat diturunkan) maka bawalah kamu Kitab Taurat itu kemudian bacalah akan dia, kalau betul kamu orang-orang yang benar.
