يَٰشُعَيۡبُ

نَفۡقَهُ
كَثِيرٗا
مِّمَّا
تَقُولُ
وَإِنَّا
لَنَرَىٰكَ
فِينَا
ضَعِيفٗاۖ
وَلَوۡلَا
رَهۡطُكَ
لَرَجَمۡنَٰكَۖ
وَمَآ
أَنتَ
عَلَيۡنَا
بِعَزِيزٖ

"O Šuajbe" – rekoše oni – "mi ne razumijemo mnogo toga što ti govoriš, a vidimo da si ti među nama jadan; da nije roda tvoga, mi bismo te kamenovali, ti nisi nama drag."

The Response of Shu`ayb's People
They said,
يشُعَيْبُ مَا نَفْقَهُ
(O Shu`ayb! We do not understand) This means that we do not comprehend.
