قَالُواْ
يَٰشُعَيۡبُ
مَا
نَفۡقَهُ
كَثِيرٗا
مِّمَّا
تَقُولُ
وَإِنَّا
لَنَرَىٰكَ
فِينَا
ضَعِيفٗاۖ
وَلَوۡلَا
رَهۡطُكَ
لَرَجَمۡنَٰكَۖ
وَمَآ
أَنتَ
عَلَيۡنَا
بِعَزِيزٖ

Wọ́n wí pé: “Ṣu‘aeb, a kò gbọ́ àgbọ́yé ọ̀pọ̀lọ́pọ̀ nínú ohun tí ò ń sọ. Dájúdájú àwa sì ń rí ọ ní ọ̀lẹ láààrin wa. Tí kò bá jẹ́ pé nítorí ti ẹbí rẹ ni, àwa ìbá ti kù ọ́ lókò pa; ìwọ kò sì lágbára kan lórí wa.”

The Response of Shu`ayb's People
They said,
يشُعَيْبُ مَا نَفْقَهُ
(O Shu`ayb! We do not understand) This means that we do not comprehend.
كَثِيراً
(much) `most of what you say'. Ath-Thawri said, "He (Shu`ayb) was called the orator of the Prophets." As-Suddi said,
