وَإِذَآ

أَنۡعَمۡنَا

عَلَى

ٱلۡإِنسَٰنِ

أَعۡرَضَ

وَنَـَٔا

بِجَانِبِهِۦ

وَإِذَا

مَسَّهُ

ٱلشَّرُّ

فَذُو

دُعَآءٍ

عَرِيضٖ

When We bestow Our favour upon man, he turns away and waxes proud;¹ but when a misfortune touches him, he is full of supplication.²
