فَأَمَّا
عَادٞ
فَٱسۡتَكۡبَرُواْ
فِي
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
بِغَيۡرِ
ٱلۡحَقِّ
وَقَالُواْ
مَنۡ
أَشَدُّ
مِنَّا
قُوَّةًۖ
أَوَلَمۡ
يَرَوۡاْ
أَنَّ
ٱللَّهَ
ٱلَّذِي
خَلَقَهُمۡ
هُوَ
أَشَدُّ
مِنۡهُمۡ
قُوَّةٗۖ
وَكَانُواْ
بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا
يَجۡحَدُونَ
١٥
それでアード*はといえば、不当にも地上で高慢となり、（こう）言った。「誰が私たちよりも強力だと言うのか？[1]」彼らは一体、彼らをお創りになったアッラー*が、彼らよりも強力であるとは思わないのか？彼らは、かれの御徴[2]を否定していたのだ。 1
