إِنَّ
ٱلَّذِينَ
تَوَفَّىٰهُمُ
ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ
ظَالِمِيٓ
أَنفُسِهِمۡ
قَالُواْ
فِيمَ
كُنتُمۡۖ
قَالُواْ
كُنَّا
مُسۡتَضۡعَفِينَ
فِي
ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ
قَالُوٓاْ
أَلَمۡ
تَكُنۡ
أَرۡضُ
ٱللَّهِ
وَٰسِعَةٗ
فَتُهَاجِرُواْ
فِيهَاۚ
فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
مَأۡوَىٰهُمۡ
جَهَنَّمُۖ
وَسَآءَتۡ
مَصِيرًا
٩٧
Quant à ceux qui ont été injustes envers eux-mêmes1, ils s’entendront dire par les anges chargés de reprendre leurs âmes : « Qu’en était-il de vous2 ? » « Nous étions impuissants dans notre pays », répondront-ils. Les anges diront : « La terre d’Allah n’était-elle pas assez vaste pour vous permettre d’émigrer ? » Voilà ceux qui n’auront d’autre refuge que la Géhenne. Et quelle horrible demeure !
