إِنَّا
عَرَضۡنَا
ٱلۡأَمَانَةَ
عَلَى
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ
وَٱلۡجِبَالِ
فَأَبَيۡنَ
أَن
يَحۡمِلۡنَهَا
وَأَشۡفَقۡنَ
مِنۡهَا
وَحَمَلَهَا
ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُۖ
إِنَّهُۥ
كَانَ
ظَلُومٗا
جَهُولٗا
٧٢
Nous avons proposé aux cieux, à la terre et aux montagnes d’assumer la grande responsabilité1 qu’ils ont déclinée par crainte de ne pouvoir l’assumer, contrairement à l’homme qui, par ignorance, l’a acceptée, se montrant injuste envers lui-même.
