قَدۡ
خَسِرَ
ٱلَّذِينَ
كَذَّبُواْ
بِلِقَآءِ
ٱللَّهِۖ
حَتَّىٰٓ
إِذَا
جَآءَتۡهُمُ
ٱلسَّاعَةُ
بَغۡتَةٗ
قَالُواْ
يَٰحَسۡرَتَنَا
عَلَىٰ
مَا
فَرَّطۡنَا
فِيهَا
وَهُمۡ
يَحۡمِلُونَ
أَوۡزَارَهُمۡ
عَلَىٰ
ظُهُورِهِمۡۚ
أَلَا
سَآءَ
مَا
يَزِرُونَ

Sont perdus, en vérité, ceux qui nient la rencontre d’Allah. Lorsque l’Heure1 les surprendra, ils s’exclameront : « Ô regrets ! Nous avons vécu dans l’insouciance ! » Ils porteront sur le dos tout le poids de leurs péchés. Quel terrible fardeau devront-ils porter !

Allah describes the regret of the disbelievers when facing Him, and their disappointment at the commencement, along with theirsorrow for not performing good deeds and for their evil deeds
