Al-Isra' 17:33 ولا تقتلوا النفس التي حرم الله الا بالحق ومن قتل مظلوما فقد جعلنا لوليه سلطانا فلا يسرف في القتل انه كان منصورا ٣٣
وَلَا
تَقۡتُلُواْ
ٱلنَّفۡسَ
ٱلَّتِي
حَرَّمَ
ٱللَّهُ
إِلَّا
بِٱلۡحَقِّۗ
وَمَن
قُتِلَ
مَظۡلُومٗا
فَقَدۡ
جَعَلۡنَا
لِوَلِيِّهِۦ
سُلۡطَٰنٗا
فَلَا
يُسۡرِف
فِّي
ٱلۡقَتۡلِۖ
إِنَّهُۥ
كَانَ
مَنصُورٗا
٣٣
Et, sauf en droit, ne tuez point la vie qu’Allah a rendue sacrée! Quiconque est tué injustement, alors Nous avons donné pouvoir à son proche [parent] . Que celui-ci ne commette donc pas d’excès dans le meurtre, car il est déjà assisté (par la loi). 1

It was reported in the Two Sahihs that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
