Al-Anfal 8:43 اذ يريكهم الله في منامك قليلا ولو اراكهم كثيرا لفشلتم ولتنازعتم في الامر ولاكن الله سلم انه عليم بذات الصدور ٤٣
إِذۡ
يُرِيكَهُمُ
ٱللَّهُ
فِي
مَنَامِكَ
قَلِيلٗاۖ
وَلَوۡ
أَرَىٰكَهُمۡ
كَثِيرٗا
لَّفَشِلۡتُمۡ
وَلَتَنَٰزَعۡتُمۡ
فِي
ٱلۡأَمۡرِ
وَلَٰكِنَّ
ٱللَّهَ
سَلَّمَۚ
إِنَّهُۥ
عَلِيمُۢ
بِذَاتِ
ٱلصُّدُورِ
٤٣
Souviens-toi quand Allah te fit voir en songe l’ennemi peu nombreux. S’Il te l’avait montré plus nombreux, vous auriez renoncé par lâcheté et vous vous seriez disputés. Mais Allah, qui connaît si bien le fond de vos pensées, vous en a préservés.

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
Allah made each Group look few in the Eye of the Other
Mujahid said, "In a dream, Allah showed the Prophet the enemy as few. The Prophet conveyed this news to his Companions and their resolve strengthened." Similar was said by Ibn Ishaq and several others. Allah said,
وَلَوْ أَرَاكَهُمْ كَثِيراً لَّف
