ثُمَّ
بَعَثۡنَا
مِنۢ
بَعۡدِهِم
مُّوسَىٰ
وَهَٰرُونَ
إِلَىٰ
فِرۡعَوۡنَ
وَمَلَإِيْهِۦ
بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا
فَٱسۡتَكۡبَرُواْ
وَكَانُواْ
قَوۡمٗا
مُّجۡرِمِينَ
٧٥
A la suite de ces Messagers, Nous avons envoyé Moïse et Aaron à Pharaon et aux grands d’Egypte qui, par orgueil, renièrent les miracles qu’ils produisirent sous leurs yeux et se comportèrent en criminels.

The Story of Musa and Fira`wn
Allah said:
ثُمَّ بَعَثْنَا
(Then after them We sent ) meaning ofter these Messengers,
مُّوسَى وَهَرُونَ إِلَى فِرْعَوْنَ وَمَلَئِهِ
(Musa and Harun to Fir`awn and his chiefs,) meaning his people
بَِايَتِنَآ
(with Our Ayat.) meaning; `Our proofs and evidences.'
فَاسْتَكْبَر

Allah said:
