وَإِن
كَذَّبُوكَ
فَقُل
لِّي
عَمَلِي
وَلَكُمۡ
عَمَلُكُمۡۖ
أَنتُم
بَرِيٓـُٔونَ
مِمَّآ
أَعۡمَلُ
وَأَنَا۠
بَرِيٓءٞ
مِّمَّا
تَعۡمَلُونَ

S’ils te traitent de menteur, réponds-leur : « Chacun devra rendre compte de ses œuvres. Vous n’aurez pas à répondre de mes actes, tout comme je n’aurai pas à répondre des vôtres. »

The Command to be Free and Clear from the Idolators
Allah said to His Prophet : `If these idolators belie you, then be clear from them and their deeds.'
فَقُل لِّى عَمَلِى وَلَكُمْ عَمَلُكُمْ
(Say: "For me are my deeds and for you are your deeds!") Similarly, Allah said:
قُلْ يأَيُّهَا الْكَفِرُونَ -
