Sourate 15 (Al-Hijr),Al-Hijr Verset 2615:26 ولقد خلقنا الانسان من صلصال من حما مسنون ٢٦
وَلَقَدۡ
خَلَقۡنَا
ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ
مِن
صَلۡصَٰلٖ
مِّنۡ
حَمَإٖ
مَّسۡنُونٖ
٢٦
Nous avons créé l’homme d’une argile crissante, extraite d’une boue malléable.

The Substances from which Mankind and Jinns were created
Ibn `Abbas, Mujahid and Qatadah said that Salsal means dry mud. The apparent meaning is similar to the Ayah:
خَلَقَ الإِنسَنَ مِن صَلْصَلٍ كَالْفَخَّارِ - وَخَلَقَ الْجَآنَّ مِن مَّارِجٍ مِّن نَّارٍ
