رَّبِّ
ٱغۡفِرۡ
لِي
وَلِوَٰلِدَيَّ
وَلِمَن
دَخَلَ
بَيۡتِيَ
مُؤۡمِنٗا
وَلِلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتِۖ
وَلَا
تَزِدِ
ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
إِلَّا
تَبَارَۢا
٢٨
پروردگارا! مرا و پدر و مادرم را و هرآن کس که با ایمان وارد خانۀ من شود، و (تمام) مردان مؤمن و زنان مؤمن را بیامرز، و ستمکاران را جز هلاکت (و نابودی) میفزا».

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
مِّمَّا خَطِيئَـتِهِمْ
(Because of their sins) It also has been recited as; (خَطَايَاهُمْ) (their errors.)
أُغْرِقُواْ
(they were drowned,) meaning, for their numerous sins, rebellion, persistence in disbelief and opposition to their Messengers.
