إِنَّمَا
ٱلنَّسِيٓءُ
زِيَادَةٞ
فِي
ٱلۡكُفۡرِۖ
يُضَلُّ
بِهِ
ٱلَّذِينَ
كَفَرُواْ
يُحِلُّونَهُۥ
عَامٗا
وَيُحَرِّمُونَهُۥ
عَامٗا
لِّيُوَاطِـُٔواْ
عِدَّةَ
مَا
حَرَّمَ
ٱللَّهُ
فَيُحِلُّواْ
مَا
حَرَّمَ
ٱللَّهُۚ
زُيِّنَ
لَهُمۡ
سُوٓءُ
أَعۡمَٰلِهِمۡۗ
وَٱللَّهُ
لَا
يَهۡدِي
ٱلۡقَوۡمَ
ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ

Cu adevărat schimbarea [lunilor] nu este altceva decât o sporire a necredinței. Prin aceasta cei care nu cred sunt duși în rătăcire. Un an ei o îngăduiesc1 și un an o socotesc sfântă, pentru ca să potrivească numărul [lunilor] pe care Allah2 le-a socotit sfinte. Astfel îngăduiesc ei ceea ce a oprit Allah. Faptele lor rele le sunt înfrumusețate. Și Allah nu călăuzește neamul de necredincioși.
