قُلۡ
إِن
كَانَ
ءَابَآؤُكُمۡ
وَأَبۡنَآؤُكُمۡ
وَإِخۡوَٰنُكُمۡ
وَأَزۡوَٰجُكُمۡ
وَعَشِيرَتُكُمۡ
وَأَمۡوَٰلٌ
ٱقۡتَرَفۡتُمُوهَا
وَتِجَٰرَةٞ
تَخۡشَوۡنَ
كَسَادَهَا
وَمَسَٰكِنُ
تَرۡضَوۡنَهَآ
أَحَبَّ
إِلَيۡكُم
مِّنَ
ٱللَّهِ
وَرَسُولِهِۦ
وَجِهَادٖ
فِي
سَبِيلِهِۦ
فَتَرَبَّصُواْ
حَتَّىٰ
يَأۡتِيَ
ٱللَّهُ
بِأَمۡرِهِۦۗ
وَٱللَّهُ
لَا
يَهۡدِي
ٱلۡقَوۡمَ
ٱلۡفَٰسِقِينَ
٢٤
Ntumwa y’Imana! Bwira abemeramana uti: “Nimwahitamwo gukunda ba so, abana banyu, benewanyu, abakenyezi banyu, incuti zanyu, amatungo mwegeranije, urudandazwa mutinya ko rwohomba, amazu mubamwo ateye igomwe, maze mukabikunda kurusha urukundo mukunda Imana Allah n’Intumwa yayo hamwe no guharanira idini ryayo, nimurindire rero mwitege ibihano vy’Imana Allah. Burya Imana Allah, ntishoboza kurongoka mu nzira yayo ibigaba birenga ku mabwirizwa yayo”.

The Prohibition of taking the Idolators as Supporters, even with Relatives
Allah commands shunning the disbelievers, even if they are one's parents or children, and prohibits taking them as supporters if they choose disbelief instead of faith. Allah warns,
لاَّ تَجِدُ قَوْماً يُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَا
