قُلۡ
إِن
كَانَ
ءَابَآؤُكُمۡ
وَأَبۡنَآؤُكُمۡ
وَإِخۡوَٰنُكُمۡ
وَأَزۡوَٰجُكُمۡ
وَعَشِيرَتُكُمۡ
وَأَمۡوَٰلٌ
ٱقۡتَرَفۡتُمُوهَا
وَتِجَٰرَةٞ
تَخۡشَوۡنَ
كَسَادَهَا
وَمَسَٰكِنُ
تَرۡضَوۡنَهَآ
أَحَبَّ
إِلَيۡكُم
مِّنَ
ٱللَّهِ
وَرَسُولِهِۦ
وَجِهَادٖ
فِي
سَبِيلِهِۦ
فَتَرَبَّصُواْ
حَتَّىٰ
يَأۡتِيَ
ٱللَّهُ
بِأَمۡرِهِۦۗ
وَٱللَّهُ
لَا
يَهۡدِي
ٱلۡقَوۡمَ
ٱلۡفَٰسِقِينَ
٢٤
අහෝ නබියරය! නුඹලාගේ පියවරුන්, නුඹලාගේ දරුවන්, නුඹලාගේ සහෝදරයන්, නුඹලාගේ කලත්රයන්, නුඹලාගේ පවුලේ ඥාතීන්, නුඹලා උපයන ධනය, පාඩු ලබනු ඇතැයි නුඹලා බිය වන ව්යාපාරය, නුඹලා ප්රිය කරන වාසස්ථාන අල්ලාහ්ටත් ඔහුගේ රසූල්වරයාටත් ඔහුගේ මාර්ගයේ කැපවීමටත් වඩා (ඒවා) නුඹලා වෙත ප්රිය මනාප නම්, එවිට අල්ලාහ් ඔහුගේ නියෝගය ගෙන එන තෙක් නුඹලා අපේක්ෂාවෙන් සිටිනු. තවද අල්ලාහ් පාපතර ජනයාට මඟ පෙන්වන්නේ නැතැයි නුඹ පවසනු.

The Prohibition of taking the Idolators as Supporters, even with Relatives
Allah commands shunning the disbelievers, even if they are one's parents or children, and prohibits taking them as supporters if they choose disbelief instead of faith. Allah warns,
لاَّ تَجِدُ قَوْماً يُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَا
