تَعۡتَذِرُواْ
ٱلۡيَوۡمَۖ
إِنَّمَا
تُجۡزَوۡنَ
مَا
كُنتُمۡ
تَعۡمَلُونَ

(அந்நாளில் நிராகரிப்பவர்களை நோக்கி) ‘‘நிராகரிப்பவர்களே! இன்றைய தினம் நீங்கள் (வீண்) புகல் கூறாதீர்கள். நீங்கள் கூலி கொடுக்கப்படுவதெல்லாம், நீங்கள் செய்தவற்றுக்குத்தான். (நீங்கள் செய்யாதவற்றுக்கு அல்ல'' என்று கூறப்படும்.)
