وَإِن
مَّا
نُرِيَنَّكَ
بَعۡضَ
ٱلَّذِي
نَعِدُهُمۡ
أَوۡ
نَتَوَفَّيَنَّكَ
فَإِنَّمَا
عَلَيۡكَ
ٱلۡبَلَٰغُ
وَعَلَيۡنَا
ٱلۡحِسَابُ
٤٠
Și de-ți vom arăta ție o parte din cele cu care-i amenințăm sau de te vom lua pe tine la Noi [lăsându-te să mori], datoria ta este [doar] propovăduirea și la Noi este socotirea.

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
Punishment is by Allah, and the Messenger's Job is only to convey the Message
Allah said to His Messenger ,
وَإِن مَّا نُرِيَنَّكَ
`(Whether We show you) O Muhammad, part of the disgrace and humiliation We have promised your enemies in this life,
أَوْ نَتَوَفَّيَنَّكَ
(or cause you to die) before that,
فَ
