لَهُۥ
دَعۡوَةُ
ٱلۡحَقِّۚ
وَٱلَّذِينَ
يَدۡعُونَ
مِن
دُونِهِۦ
لَا
يَسۡتَجِيبُونَ
لَهُم
بِشَيۡءٍ
إِلَّا
كَبَٰسِطِ
كَفَّيۡهِ
إِلَى
ٱلۡمَآءِ
لِيَبۡلُغَ
فَاهُ
وَمَا
هُوَ
بِبَٰلِغِهِۦۚ
وَمَا
دُعَآءُ
ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
إِلَّا
فِي
ضَلَٰلٖ
١٤
真の呼びかけ[1]は、かれ（アッラー*）だけに属する。そして、彼を差しおいて彼らが祈っているものたちは、少しも彼らに応じることなどない。自分の（乾いた）口に届くよう、その両手を（遠くから）水へと伸ばすが、そこには届かない者（が、その念願を叶えられる）程度のもの以外には（、その念願を叶えられないのだ）[2]。不信仰者*たちの祈願は、全くの徒労である。 1
