۞ ٱللَّهُ
نُورُ
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ
مَثَلُ
نُورِهِۦ
كَمِشۡكَوٰةٖ
فِيهَا
مِصۡبَاحٌۖ
ٱلۡمِصۡبَاحُ
فِي
زُجَاجَةٍۖ
ٱلزُّجَاجَةُ
كَأَنَّهَا
كَوۡكَبٞ
دُرِّيّٞ
يُوقَدُ
مِن
شَجَرَةٖ
مُّبَٰرَكَةٖ
زَيۡتُونَةٖ
لَّا
شَرۡقِيَّةٖ
وَلَا
غَرۡبِيَّةٖ
يَكَادُ
زَيۡتُهَا
يُضِيٓءُ
وَلَوۡ
لَمۡ
تَمۡسَسۡهُ
نَارٞۚ
نُّورٌ
عَلَىٰ
نُورٖۚ
يَهۡدِي
ٱللَّهُ
لِنُورِهِۦ
مَن
يَشَآءُۚ
وَيَضۡرِبُ
ٱللَّهُ
ٱلۡأَمۡثَٰلَ
لِلنَّاسِۗ
وَٱللَّهُ
بِكُلِّ
شَيۡءٍ
عَلِيمٞ

Allahas yra dangų ir žemės Šviesa. Jo Šviesos panašumas yra toks lyg (jei būtų) niša ir joje šviestuvas: šviestuvas yra stikle, stiklas lyg būtų švytinti žvaigždė, uždegta nuo palaiminto medžio, alyvuogė, nei iš rytų (nei ji gauna saulės šviesos tik rytais), nei iš vakarų (t. y. nei ji gauna saulės šviesos tik popietę, tačiau ji išstatyta priešais saulę visą dieną), kurios aliejus šviečia (pats), nors jokia ugnis jo nepaliečia. Šviesa ant Šviesos! Allahas veda į Savo Šviesą tą, ką Jis nori. Ir Allahas nustato panašumus žmonijai, ir Allahas yra Visa Žinantis apie viską.
