لَّا
يَسۡتَوِي
ٱلۡقَٰعِدُونَ
مِنَ
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
غَيۡرُ
أُوْلِي
ٱلضَّرَرِ
وَٱلۡمُجَٰهِدُونَ
فِي
سَبِيلِ
ٱللَّهِ
بِأَمۡوَٰلِهِمۡ
وَأَنفُسِهِمۡۚ
فَضَّلَ
ٱللَّهُ
ٱلۡمُجَٰهِدِينَ
بِأَمۡوَٰلِهِمۡ
وَأَنفُسِهِمۡ
عَلَى
ٱلۡقَٰعِدِينَ
دَرَجَةٗۚ
وَكُلّٗا
وَعَدَ
ٱللَّهُ
ٱلۡحُسۡنَىٰۚ
وَفَضَّلَ
ٱللَّهُ
ٱلۡمُجَٰهِدِينَ
عَلَى
ٱلۡقَٰعِدِينَ
أَجۡرًا
عَظِيمٗا
٩٥
ന്യായമായ വിഷമമില്ലാതെ (യുദ്ധത്തിന് പോകാതെ) ഒഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്ന വിശ്വാസികളും, തങ്ങളുടെ ധനം കൊണ്ടും ദേഹം കൊണ്ടും അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ മാര്ഗത്തില് സമരം ചെയ്യുന്നവരും തുല്യരാകുകയില്ല. തങ്ങളുടെ ധനം കൊണ്ടും ദേഹംകൊണ്ടും സമരം ചെയ്യുന്നവരെ ഒഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നവരേക്കാള് അല്ലാഹു പദവിയില് ഉയര്ത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു. എല്ലാവര്ക്കും അല്ലാഹു നല്ല പ്രതിഫലം വാഗ്ദാനം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു. എന്നാല് സമരത്തില് ഏര്പെടുന്നവര്ക്ക് ഒഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നവരേക്കാളും കൂടുതലായി അല്ലാഹു മഹത്തായ പ്രതിഫലം നല്കുന്നതാണ്.

The Mujahid and those Who Do not Join Jihad are Not the Same, [and Jihad is Fard Kifayah]
Al-Bukhari recorded that Al-Bara' said, "When the Ayah,
لاَّ يَسْتَوِى الْقَعِدُونَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
(Not equal are those of the believers who sit (at home),) was revealed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ called Zayd
